I am certified in Holistic Pelvic Care for energetic release and restoration in the pelvic bowl, performed externally on the belly and abdomen.
The hips and pelvis are areas where we commonly store tension and trauma. Holistic Pelvic Care is a method to release qi congestion and trapped trauma from the pelvis. It is an effective and supportive therapy for trauma history, abuse history, birth loss, painful periods, PMS, various gynecological conditions, as well as emotionally instabilities.
I combine HPC with somatics, acupressure, acupuncture, and guided visualization, creating a reparative space to experience sensations of safety, belonging, and dignity. I offer this work specifically for the queer and trans community and for those with C-PTSD.
My scope of practice currently only includes the external methods of this work. I will not be practicing the internal method unless that allowance changes.

For those with fibroids and vascular abnormalities:
Dr. Mary Costantino (CIC Portland) is an interventional radiologist who specializes in advanced endovascular work including treatment for peripheral arterial disease, vericocele and venous blockage, and fibroids. UAE (uterine artery embolization) is a non-surgical interventional procedure that effectively resolves fibroids.
The patients Liz has worked with who have undergone UAE with Dr. Costantino report life changing results, including relief from extreme monthly pain, normalized periods with low flow, higher blood count (toward resolving anemia), relief from bloating and water retention, and an enormous improvement in quality of life.
Dr. Costantino prioritizes care, empathy, and compassion. Her patient centered approach include the recommendation of acupuncture sessions with Liz pre- and post-procedure.
Sessions with Liz may take place at Night Sky (811 E. Burnside) or—schedule allowing—at Dr. Costantino’s clinic (same day as your procedure, just prior to or just after) or as a house call while you recuperate during the 7 day recovery period. Sign up for sessions at Liz’s office online, or contact her to schedule a CIC visit or a house call.
